I got a p06 today that I converted to p28 and socketed it as well. I put it in the car, it threw a code 21 which I went to go look up and it's vtec solenoid so I thought "Great, at least it's not code 0 like my last 2 ecus (which I didn't chip)." So I go to grab the ecu from the floor of my car after looking up the code and I felt a little static shock between my finger and the ecu. So I decided to try to check the code to make sure nothing went wrong and sure enough now I have code 0 and a flashing srs light. What the hell happened? I cut J1 to see if it was something in my chipping that messed up but when I did so I got no CEL. This leads me to believe that the ecu isn't toast. I checked the checksum of my bin and even burned a new stock bin and nothing has worked. I checked all my solders and continuity, everything checks out. The p06 started and ran the car with 450ccs when I first got it btw. No cel at that point. This has me really stumped. I'm about to push this car off a cliff. I thought I finally had it figured out but no, something fucking stupid gets in the way. What should I do? I checked all my solders and everything.

If it works as a P06 with the jumper cut, then as a last resort just unsolder what you soldered in originally and install a new HC chip.
