Ok just chipped a P72 and throw it in and get a solid CEL. I removed the jumper on J1 and its still giving a solid. Ive checked EVERY solder joint, ive checked all of the caps on the board and all of the various places on the board for any form of defects.

REAAALY wish i would have tested the ECU before chipping but out of the 50+ ecus ive done ive never had an issue besides the occasional air pocket in the solder....

The little smudge under where the eprom sits is clean, was just a lil smudge, no circuits seem damaged or anything....

Ive run stock p72 roms, P30 rom, both with checksum removed and in debug mode. With and without the jumper....all show solid CEL

If by chance it is a bad ecu, I could use a P72 case. I have a P72 stock ecu but the case was badly damaged in an accident. So I had to toss the case and I've been looking for one ever since.

LMK if it ends up to be a bad ecu and you want to sell the case to me.

Take some more pics of the board in a higher resolution and maybe we can see some kinda of defect from looking at it.
