I hope this is in the right section,

I'm looking for information on the calculations for getting the map sensor voltage to a pressure value...ie psi etc

Thanks

Get to WIKI..

it has a chart for MAP to mbar..
from there you can get the conversions from math.com conversion calculators to adjust to other pressure systems.

MAP sensors are used in the electronic control system to covert a voltage to pressure at a absolute level.Basically it calculates the air density and identifies the mass flow rate.Air temperature and rpm speed is also useful in this task.

You can get more information from Wikipedia.com, it stores a very vast collection about Map sensors. In every electronic control system mostly used system is a MAP sensors. It helpful to convert a voltage to pressure at a middle or high absolute level.
