that's it folks:

i got an email from a guy on Malaysia that has apart, from a CDROM with tons of ecu programs, a software that allowas to change vtec, rpm limiter, fuel and timing maps...

he wants $1000 for it.

can we do a little group-buy on it?

20 folks @ $50 per folk = $1000

and $50 is not that much, we can also learn a LOT from this stuff!

let me know your thoughts

I dunno man .... 1000 bucks can get an entire development kit from OKI for the obd1 ECUs. Also thanks to Katmans info on the vtec and redline locations we can do all of that right now.

I just dont think its worth it for the price

I gotta go with cyclonus on this one, for $1000 we could buy a OBD1 dev kit that would be worth its weight in gold. Just my humble opinion.

If that software was bug free, had graphical 3d displays of fuel + timing charts for vtec and non vtec ECUs, MAYBE it would be worth $1000. Email dude and get more info?

I thought Someone posted the fuel and timing maps conversion tables. We know all the locations.. just need to do what the OBD0 Fellas did and covert them to their appropriate units.

Interesting...it's getting cheaper. The guy wanted $5000 for it a couple months ago...
