I was analyzing a P13 ROM and thought it would be handy to have a way to monitor all the registers and PSW flags and "step" through the ecu code like a traditional debugger does. I'm not a programmer, but I came up with something that I find useful.
The program currently works on a p12/p13/p14 or any ECU running a P72, P30, or Honda tuning suite base ROM code.
Additional ROM support can be added via debugger.code files.(See documentation)

You will need a moates Ostrich(only tested on 2.0), a serial datalogging cable, and engine SIM.(and a socketed ECU of course)

The following registers are monitored and logged
-ACC
-r0 to r7
-PSW (CF, ZF, HC, DD, SF, MIE, SCB, BCB)
-X1
-X2
-DP
-LRB
-[SSP]

The program is not perfect, (probably never will be). Use at your own risk, and only on an engine simulator.

This is very interesting! Ostrich is absolutely required, or could I use some alternative such as RTP/DL extension?

Some form of RTP is needed since the ROM needs to be updated on every "breakpoint". I only have an Ostrich, so that's what it's coded for. I'm sure that it could be updated to support a HondaRulez RTP, Demon, or other emulator, but I don't have the hardware to do it.
