I'm using a PM6 with Ghettodyne 1.4.
I currently am running JRSC with Zdyne gold w/450cc injectors. I took the fueling maps (due to the 450cc injectors)from my Zdyne and plugged them into Ghettodyne the spark map looked very close so I left it alone. I knew this was not going to run boost right, I just wanted to see what the datalogging looked like.

I turn the key on, and get a flash from the ecu (normal so far), the car starts right up and runs great (no difference noticed) for about 30 seconds and then it throws the CEL and the car starts running like crap but it runs.
I try to check the code by shorting the jumper then turning the key on, no code(flashes).
I re-soldered the socket and it made no difference. The fuel ms turned out to be about half of what was there, is this out of range?
I'm still waiting for the free samples of the serial port chips to see what the datalogging (ECU Control) looks like.

Yes, a few people have had this happen so far...I am looking into the cause. I'll post when I find a solution.

Ok, this indicates a bad jump in the code.

The ECU goes in dead mode. There is something wrong in the code..

Mike, you should make a GhD release that works with EC rom without boost. take one of mine, i tested it again today and no problem so far !

here are the diff between ghettotune.bin and my 90-91-PM6-D-LC.BIN

I need some more 27256 chips. I can't find the Atmel 29c256 without needing a paypal account. Can you help? I am also playing with the dual page mode using 27c512.
I am also trying to build a PCB that will hookup to a header from CN3 (on my PM6) by using a common PCB found at RadioShack 276-159B which is just a universal 20-pin IC. I thought this may help folks with the datalogging as this board is very easy to find(also I tried etching a board, but drilling the holes so close was a bitch) so I thought I would try this amature approch.

Thanks,

Woz

I tried the modified bin.
Well, the car starts runs for a few minutes and NO CEL.
However, it will not rev over 4000rpm, it revs fine until 4000rpm. I also noticed that boost (6 lbs)was not throwing the CEL.

HTH,

the engine will not rev passed 4000 if your VSS is disconnected OR if you are not rolling. or if your VSS is defect

True, the car was standing still. I will try it again Wednesday and post the results.

bravo Mike! I'll update and repost the Ghettodyne 1.4 bin as soon as I hear from woz that it works.

It works.
The car runs fine. I don't have datalogging hooked-up yet so no input there.
I did throw a code 3, but I think that was where BOOST hit. Before I threw the CEL, It was running fine.
I did let it warm up, then I shut it off and restarted before I took it out.

Looks like progress! I'd post it.

One small thing, why is it reving to 4000rpm when the "Launch control" is set to 1873rpm?
