I bought this Nokia cable from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/USB-Data-Cable-DKU- ... dZViewItem

I wired it up using Jim's schem.

steps:
cut the phone plug off
you will have 5 wires (black, white,red,blue and green)
I used 3 (black, white and blue)
Black=ground goes to pin 1
white=Tx goes to pin 4
Blue=Rx goes to pin 2

thats all.
I just wanted to let everyone know that this cable is good and its easy to use.

yes, it works good.
I tried it last night on Ecu control and Freelog.
I will be doing some runs today after reading up on EC.

The only thing is that on EC the gauges are not fine tuned. Like my boost gauge reads 5psi, but in EC it says 6.3Psi. ??

also, Vtec is always off, when I know its actually on.
other than that, good.

this cable has the Prolific PL-2303 chip inside the cable. Its actually on the USB connector side not on the phone side.

You have to really play with the cable trying to find the tx and rx. If you actually purchase the same cable I did. You can use my setup.

just, remember to wire it up to your ecu on CN2. Cn2 has 5 pins. you are only going to use 4. I wired it and wired my WB to the O2 input and done.

let me know if you need anymore assitance or guidance.

Just an FYI, I will suggest, read,read,read. The wiki us and awsome place to learn and just read up on things.

We have all been there at one point or another. so its all good.

Btw, what ecu and setup you have?

yes pin 1-2 and 4. I used an amp italy connector male board mount. there are 5 pins on the board. You would have to get a 4 pin connector and just ignore pin 3. Unless you run the wires directly to the ecu. I like the option to remove and install as I see needed. Thats why I went with the connector.

sorry about the confusion.
