you need to check the settings on your computer. It will show up in the com ports section. Just see what it assigned. Probably 2. Then just tell ecu control to use that one.

I have ONLY had it work for me on tghe default speed setting. I forget what it is off hand right now.

Just for fun I am attaching a document that I drew up. It explains in very fine detail how to install the drivers and setup ecucontrol to run. This goes right from the start to finish of the entire install. I will ask that you use this for your help only. I know if somebody wanted to it would not be hard to include this with packages of people selling prechipped ecu's wioth datalogging and such. But I ask that you please make your own document for such uses. Or pay me to use mine. I wont charge a lot. Maybe $500 per ecu sold or something like that.

Either way, it should help you with your setup.

OK FOUND OUT THAT YOU HAVE TO USE A CELL PHONE CABLE! YOU CAN NOT USE A CABLE THAT CONNECTS A MOUSE PRINTER OR KEYBOARD, TO A COMPUTER!! NOKIA IS THE ONE THAT THERE ARE DRIVERS OUT THERE FOR.

Yeah, you need a USB or Serial to TTL converter. The Nokia DKU-5 has a USB to TTL converter built in. TTL is the language the ECU uses.
