Hi!!!

I just noticed this on the FAQ section http://pgmfi.org/resources/FAQ/replacements.html and I was wondering if someone tried them with good results.

If not, I am willing to try them, but do not know the SK5151s pinout. (Could not find the datasheet either.)

Any info on pinouts, website or place to start will be enough. I will post the results on this thread.

JEJEJEJE!!!

Do not have that many ECUs to convert to VTEC. BTW, I found some Auto ECUs laying around here and pulled some of the 5151s.

Thanks for the advice thou!

btw, i was thinking accord/prelude auto tranny controllers might be a source for 5151s. people pratically give them away too.

I tried a IR6210/6220 last night.. I think the pinout is a little different.. I'v enever had to look for SK-5151/SI-5151SG to do any mods but it looks like I'm on the chase...

Symptoms: Perminant CEL, and Perminant power to V-tec solonoid.. not good.. I'll keep an update on progress...

Ok ok ok ok.. I know, you guys are probably thinking that I'm an idiot for following up on such an old post but you know what.. I don't see anything....

I found datasheets on a SI-5151S and a SI-5154S thanks to doing stuff out of necessity and not leisure... Thought I'd help, being I see nothing on this here...

I'm prolly the last to find out but I'm gonna post what I found because I see Group buys for SI-5154's when you CAN use a IR6220! I drove to work with an ECU using this method.. The only difference between the IR6220 and SK-5151 becides slight voltage tolerances were Vcc and Vo leads (Pins 3 & 5)..

What I did was stripped a short piece of 10-12ga wire and used the sleeving as a insulator on pin 3 to prevent a short when I crossed leads 3 & 5. Here's pics of the IR6220 installed on a P06, you can even see my makeshift Voltage splitter in "RM11" THANKS GUYS for all the leads...

I hear that the 5050S and 5151S are interchangeable. Would that mean that this replacement should work for a 5050S, like on a 1720 board?

I'm searching and searching. What about this, anyone? http://rocky.digikey.com/WebLib/Maxim/W ... AX4515.pdf

that's probably a negatory..

So which one should one use, the 6210 or 6220?
