I wrote this asm editor with syntax highlighting for dasm662 files. Get it here if you want it:

Here's a screen shot:

I'll probably link it to A1k0n's assembler and disassembler plus other stuff, but for now it is just a notepad with syntax highlighting.

OK calvin, the search thing is implemented. But I got something even better... There are two new navigation buttons that will allow you to jump to labels quickly. The 'next' button will work if the cursor is currently at a label after a jump instruction (ex. J label_0102 or JGE label_3324). The 'prior' button will allow you to back track the jumps -- very useful when trying to trace routines. More to come. But for now, enjoy!

John: I like your program and was wondering if I could adapt it to do the same thing for 8051 asm? It uses some different syntax on the dasms... Do you use an external rulefile, or is everything hard-coded? I would have no problems at all doing the code changes myself if you would mind emailing me the appropriate piece of code for the parser, as I know you are really busy and I wouldn't want to distract you from your other projects. Let me know.
btw, blundar@atheist.com or admin@pgmfi.org are a much better email addresses for me than blundar@codyscafe.com or blundar42@hotmail.com, both of which you have used at one point.
thanks
-Dave
