im geting a solid engine light on with a chiped ecu. i put the stock one in and it is good no engine light on. the chiped ecu has a new moates ostrige engie light is on and wont rev pass 4000rpms.. trying all kind of maps... cant get it to work.. the ecu has worked with a chip in it in a 96-98 civic i think the program thats in crome.. i must be doin something wrong if anyone can help me out with this...

just tryed another ecu and teh engine light comes on and the car wont rev past 3500 i think i'ts crome...

Probably a bad ecu chipping, otherwise something is wrong with the bbin (user error). did you remove the checksum routine? start with p30 base rom?? try a different bin from someone else that is good.

i had sort of the same issue cuz i screwed up chipping and ruined the track thing so i had to solder wire to two of the ecu pins then solder them to the spot that they normaly go. kinda ghetto but works flawlessly.
