Hey guys,

I've been trying to get TE working well, but I can't figure out whats wrong.
I got the latest version of TE and the latest plugin of ECUcontrol. I just connect to my ostrich and read my maps from the Ostrich, then I click on the ECUcontrol button in TE to start datalogging.
Datalogging works, cause I can see the RPM, IAT, and so on. However I can't get it to trace the map, am I missing something or doing something wrong ? (I've been using an PM7 ECU with NG60 rom since the guy that tuned my car used this rom, I'll try to put an NG62 rom on it tomorrow).

I love both the programs and would like to get it working for me so I can adjust my car to run even better.

Sorry if my english isn't that well, but I'm from Holland so go easy on me
Help me out guys,
Thanks in advance,
Dave M.

you need to have a wideband connected for the maptrace to work, and the tick boxes in the maptrace options need to be ticked also

I got an LC1 connected to the ECU via C16 pin.
And I checked the checkbox for maptrace, so that ain't the problem.

Anymore ideas, anyone ?

things to look at under options:

Map Trace tab:
Samples to Average set too high
Fuel Trace set to incorrect channel
Min Value too high
Max Value too low

O2 Settings tab:
Oxygen Sensor Input set correctly

Does the Point Count tab fill with data, or is that blank also? Make sure that the MAP TRACE checkbox is selected under the Connect button (I'm sure it is, just mentioning).

I got the map trace to work, I think the sample rate was adjusted to high or the average by entire log was wrong.
What is the standard sample rate in EcuControl ?
