since 4 Days Ecucontroll wouldnt start anymore. Download new te and ecucontoll same result. a complete fresh reinstalled windows xp didnt solve my problem. ecu controll wouldnt start TE Version 3.1.10 Ecucontroll 6.1.15 where is the fuckin problem ? after all these problems i can not imagin how anybody could tune a car with this programm. |

do you have the standalone version installed? http://forum.pgmfi.org/download/file.php?id=6344 it installs some resource files that are not included in the plugin download. i will be posting a new version soon that will fix some of these errors, or at least tell you exactly what is wrong. sorry for the trouble...

sorry for the hard words.got many anoying problems this day. i installed the standalona version in the same folder as for the Plugin. The Standalone version starts but i miss the Lc1 support. The Plugin wouldnt start out of TE. why does this problem appear from one to another day ? why does it show up with a fresh xp too. windows update is the problem? any other solution ? If i can fix the Problems and tune my car i would donate

DAMN ! after 3 restarts of te ecu controll plugin starts. thats crazy |

It really takes some time to get used to the installation and fine tune your laptop to work properly. All of my problems dissapeared when I did a fresh install (Windows Xp Home SP2) , make sure you install all the required chipset and usb drivers of your laptop, install turboedit and ecucontrol (put all the resource files of TE and ECUcontrol in system32 folder, but do NOT overwrite the ones that are already there) , install the drivers for your datalog cable, and you are good to go.Do NOT install any other software on the laptop nor do any windows updates.This is when windows or TE are messed up by installing a bunch of updated .dll files in system32.Just keep a working Acronis image of your installation in case something wrong happens. Patience is a virtue.When you get this right you will be glad!TE is amazing! |
