i got an email from digi-key with the following announcement

for whoever doesnt know what this is, its the high speed switch we can use on OBD1 boards for VTEC activation when we cant get the 515X high switches from other boards

This isn't as critical now that there are folks who are importing the SK5151 units in bulk, but thanks for the heads up...

Then where can i get the sk-5151 or the replacement of the IR6220-nd. Just call digikey and they gave me an replacement which they only have 10 left and then you would have to buy 50 of them in order to get them. The replacement is th IR6226-nd which i have diagrams for both the ir6220 and ir6226 which seem the same and the same way you solder them together. Will keep you post soon as they come and i try them out.

they have a good customer service
even if they have a minimum order amount, if you talk them into it, they will sell it to you anyways what you want....
i have seen it done when i need some pigtails, and they have a minimum of 500 and they sold me 50

I got this response from IR but I cannot locate someone that sells them yet. I also have attached the spec sheets.

IR said these will be in production by the end of November and as we all know, there is currently no replacement. :cry:
