not sure if work being done or something but suddenly stopped working on all my computers at the same time.

how am i supposed to follow the "search" advice if it dont work:)

thats weird i get them on my sites which are all phpbb but i can still search maybe theres something wrong with the search system

i wouldnt ban them or disable them they come in a default phpbb installation

Has anyone been able to search yet? I need to search before posting questions.
This is the message i always get-- "Sorry but you cannot use search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes."

No. You'll see the bots are still listed at the bottom of the main page.

its not the bots its prolly a setting that the admin changed like
Search page system load limit:
If the 1 minute system load exceeds this value the search page will go offline, 1.0 equals ~100% utilisation of one processor. This only functions on UNIX based servers.

or the search cache
the bots prolly arent helping if there searching the forum but its not specifically from them
