HEllo, I get a kit for mount a turbo, T25, in my civic hatch 5ยช D16Z6,

I have the ecu chiped for NA setup, fuel map regulated according my wideband PLX250 and all ok

But I have questions before I goes to mount the turbo,,

Which fuel map I can use for the engine first start???, to avoid detonation, I think first go too rich and slowly, with the PLX, correcting the fuel map lowing fuel... but How calculate the fuel to first setup knowing the psi is about 8, I expect about 200hp, stock internals, stock injectors (but with wallbro pump), fuel 98 octanes... ??

And the second question, I dont understand ignition maps, how I can adjust this map to avoid detonation? I think I have to advance the ignition, but how much?? how I can monitorize this advancing and know if the adjust is correct or is a bad adjust?

THanks a lot really & sorry for my english.

what program are you using to modify your ROM? I Would recommend Crome. There is a plug-in that allows you to add boost columns, and when it adds them, they are usually a safe spot to start because they will generally have entirely too much fuel. Also, you do not want to advance you ignition timing in boost, instead you want to retard it, the plug-in will adjust your ignition accordingly, but it is usually on the retarded side.

When you are tuning, take it slow, tuning small RPM intervals until you have your air/fuel ratio at about 11.8 under boost.

My NA is now with uberdata.

Ok I will see this plugin with crome for boost, then if I have understanding, automatically crome configure boost partion in safe rich fuel map, and step by step I upgrade the fuel map clearing fuel, to adjust full throttle at 11-12aprox and 14 at closed loop... and the ignition retard grades automatically also..

Thanks

They have an ignition map on there you can adjust, you should probably take it on a dyno to tune that.
