The cable should be a straight forward cable (null modem). Any null modem cable will work with got speed board as well as the one i've built. So, no drivers required.

It shouldn't be a null-modem cable..
it should be a cable, specifically, with pin2 connected to pin 2, pin3 connected to pin3, pin5 connected to pin5 male to female. no other pins necessary..

'null modem' refers to a connector where
Code:
CON1   CON2
2      3
3      2
4      6
5      5
6      4
7      8
8      7

Null modem cables are commonly used with PCAnywhere to link 2 PC's together to transfer files, 'sans-modem'

Go to RadioShack website & look it up..

Oki, my error. :D

I just bought an extension db9 cable... and in the package one could read "VGA extension cable DB9M-DB9F" :D :D :D :D So, how can we trust those guys ?

One can always make his own Xtension cable... Just getting a db9m and a db9 f conectores, and solder an apropriate cable tehre. :D

Anyway tkx for the info, Itdannear
