Hi all,

Just a very quick introduction. I'm RMC, and I am based in the UK.

I saw this forum being mentioned a few times now in other forums and thought I would try my luck.

I am currently doing a k swap on my '92 EG automatic hatch which has/had an auto D15B2 fitted to it. Unfortunately I did not notice that my vehicle came with OBD0 (PM6 ECU I believe) before sorting out a k swap adaptor harness (which the design is based off an OBD1 ECU as far as I understand).

Is there anyway someone can point me in the right direction to a wiring diagram which matches the ECU/vehicle I have? All the information online I have found so far states that this model (EG) should've come with an OBD1 ECU(??).

Is there a side by side comparison for OBD0/OBD1 ECU pinouts? Does the auto version add any complexity to the harness on the ECU side?

Apologies if these are various different questions but I just had a couple days around the wiring and the information I am finding online does not help.

Regards

RMC

personally I'd convert to OBD1. not that there is anything wrong with OBD0, but there is a ton more support for OBD1, especially for K series.

question for you, does your civic look like the USDM 92-95 civic? or does it look like the USDM 88-91 civic?
(some markets got generation switches later than others, some got OBD0 5th generation, which makes things more fun)

if you want to go with OBD0, check the wiring diagrams for an USDM '91 civic. As I do not know of a Helm's manual specifically for a UK 92 civic.

Definitely a way around it would be to convert to OBD1.. I did think about it but was trying to avoid doing so :)

My car looks like a 92-95 USDM hatch but, as I said, with OBD0. Unsure if the reason why it is OBD1 is indeed due to a late gen change as my chassis has a late 91 build date.

I'll try the USDM '91 schematics first and see if the pinouts match or if I have some odd hybrid harness in here.
