Hey guys, young blood here trying to get some proper datalogging so I can not kill my car with a shit tune. Wondering if anyone knows where to get one of the RS232 boards now since it looks like Gotspeed doesn't exist anymore. I found this one on Amazon, but I'm not sure if it'll work or not.

If that one will work, is there anything special I need to do other than just hooking it up to the ECU and my laptop and running Freelog? Is there some kind of port setup I'd need to do on the device manager to make sure it'll work right? Would I be better off saving up the dough for a Moates Ostrich? Idk, trying to come out with a decent tune without blowing all my cash. Help a broke college kid out, y'all! Haha any replies much appreciated

Why you want to use old RS232. Get an ftdi usb cable or a Moates Hulog. Ostrich is an emulator which needed for real-time tuning. Or you can get a NeptuneRTP for tuning/datalogging.
