have a b18c1 in an ek chassis have jumper harnes connected and and running a chipped p28 with the basemap i received with the ecu. well it acts like the iacv is bad you know the up down up down rpm. so i decided to barrow a willem eprom burner and downloaded chrome. Found another base map and attempted to make adjustments but all I get is 2k rpm and a solid cel... made changes to the map and same thing iacv on / off oxygen sensor on /off adjusted idle up and down no changes to the way the car runs. Im wondering if its because the maps i have are p30 base and i think my basemap that came with the ecu is a p72 base... any help would be great. Also not i "erased" the chip and plugged it in the ecu and it does the same thing 2k and solid cel with supposidly no bin file loaded.... interesting none the less. any help would be great.

When you build your rom file, remove the check sum routine. Otherwise your ecu thinks it has an internal failure.
