Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum so bear with my lack of experience :)
I have an issue with my civic, I lost the black key and only have now the red one left... so basically no chance to recover the original code. In order to bring the car back to life I have to remove the immobilizer check and I admit that I have no idea how to do so..
If you have any experience, useful link, pictures, please don't hesitate to illuminate my ignorance.
Thank you in advance

Some people sell immo remover that you have to wiretap into the car, or you can swap for a non-immo ecu.

no other way of doing it, sorry.

Hi,
Thank you for answering this fast.
I think there are some other ways to remove the immo.. for example, this tuto:
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/archive/in ... 48704.html

Explains how to remove it from the following ECU versions:
P73 from DC2R
P30 from 97 CRX
P2T from EK4 ecu ( thanks to Phuong1987 )
P72 from DC2 Integra ( thanks to VTec1987 )
P2P from EK VTi ( thanks to VTec1987 )

I'm not sure the P1G applies to this procedure, and that's why I'm asking.
So if anybody has a link to something similar or a document to share, please do

If it's the same ECU generation, the board should be very similar if not identical, then you can try to apply one of these instructions that seems to fit best.
