Hello there,

I was reading from pgmfi that our CKP sensor is used for computing the engine speed and the spark timing as well as the injection timing. Is this a fact?
I thought our TDC sensor was the one used for spark timing, as it is a 4 tooth trigger.

Is our injection sequential or batch?

The ckp is for ignition timing. The amount of voltage drop in the ignition control module, or igniter, is used to caculate engine speed. Injector timing is calculated off the cam sensor, or cmp. The tdc sensor is used for faster start up and is built into the ckp sensor on almost every non honda car. Honda puts all these components into the distributor (eccept a few select models and newer obd2 models) and are concidered non adjustable and only serviced as replacement parts. Honda uses sequential fuel injection.

More in depth, you asked, "is our injection sequential or batch?" The short answer is yes. It is sequential during normal operation, and batch during "limp mode".
