So i should have known better than to ask questions on H-T these days... i swear that forum would be totally useless if not for the marketplace and search function and even then it can be a pain! anyways enough of my rant.. i recently posted http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2569832.. and have gotten a bunch of tools i swear are just posting to hear themselves type! ANYWAYS I just picked up new rims (15x7 kandy red jmags) and am looking for the tires im gonna put on them.. BFG's suck ass after 300hp... so REAL DOT drag radial time.. seems like the MT ET Streets are the way to go.. they make a 225/50/15 that will fit just fine.. BUT i like the hoosier QTP... most say its a better tire.. and i think the hoosier white letter would look badass on my honda =P (not a technical reason but WHATEVER!)... BUT the smallest qtp has a 26.1" diameter.. im not thinking its going to fit under my lowered (kyb's on H&R 1.8" drop) ek and still be able to turn.. id like someone to prove me wrong.. and my 2nd question.. is it safe to run them front and back? id rather have matching tires...

26" tall tires are massive overkill for a 300 whp civic, No point in that big until you are atleast in the 500 whp range (going by your sig unless you are at more now). You would also have to raise it to at least stock ride height and/or cut the fenders. Also, running drag radials in the rear would be completely stupid (looks wise and price), just get some bigger profile tires if you don't want the huge front tire look. Get the 225/50/15 and paint the letters white if you want.

lol @ "paint letters white".. 35r upgrade this summer.. 600hp+.. I went out and took some measurements.. def not happening.. as far as the dr's in the rear... ive got some time to decide... but any good street tire is about the same price if not more.. the MTs are $164 per tire.. A048's are $220.. i know there are cheaper but i want good tires.. im sure the a048s would last much longer than the MT's though
