off my meds ?? no. i make mention of something that is obviously true. you dont install chromn into your ecu. you take a binary file out of your ecu import it into chrome modify it save it and put that bin image on a chip. Tunerpro is an awesome program and will easily do everything your current editors do without all this bs. plus its free, supports emulation and can be setup to datalog. if you have the com cammand structure. ill get with a few of the guys here and collect up some info and put together a few XDF files for you guys to check it out.
Hmm.. don't remember implying that anyone installs software on their ECUs... that would be silly... Everything on the TP website (hah! TP!) pointed to GM and GM only. Sorry I misunderstood that... It's nice that this guy is willing to give away all of his time, energy, and education. But we can't expect the same from anyone else. And it's great that you feel comfortable enough with programming to modify this other editor to suit your needs. "Yay" for you. But the rest of us, who just don't have the time, or sometimes the inclenation to learn programming, Crome is a much better option. I tell you what. You put together a modified version of TP that is able to interperet the P13 and P0A code bases, with all the basics (Fuel, ignition, sensors) and VTEC, Idle, IAC, IAB. We'll give you $100. Sound fair?
