I hate to be the bearer of bad news (again), but this one doesn't work either. It shows up on the list of plugins, but clicking on it doesn't do anything. I tried several different roms, but still nothing. :(

the plugin does work in TE 2.5.2 and 2.5.5
please try to download the MsChart ocx package here and put in \windows\system32 folder
please keep on posting tests results
I am now working on new cool features for the plugin so make sure it works for you or you will miss something !

Just had a quick go at this, d/l the 2 zip folders and placed the extracted ocx file in Windows/system32. Installed the plugin in TE2.5.5...

Works perfectly. 8) But only shows the NA vacuum region.

Very nice feature for overlooking maps. Well done.

Well.... success! 8) Looks great, and the rotate is very neat. I seem to be able to break anything, so a couple quirks. If you open the window for background color and hit cancel, it gives a Run-time error '6' - Overflow, and then none of the buttons works and once you close the plugin, it won't reopen until you close and reopen TurboEdit. But as long as you don't cancel the color selection, everything works great. Sorry to keep breaking your app, just trying to help.

Great, 10x but the way fuel is displayed is not very nice.... I only see the back of the 3d plot, and the slopes are not visible from that angle.... Any chance of making those graphs rotatable?

and 2 bugs to report.... "Close" doesn't work. and if you choose
to change the background and then "Cancel", you get runtime error.... some overflow, and you have to restart TE to run the plugin again.

10x for the great effort!

the graphs ARE "rotatives"...I said it in a previous post...and also if you check out the "About Z3d" article in the "?" menu...so I repeat :

hint : use ctrl + click to rotate the 3d views...

also, don't forget to try out the different "View" and "Windows" modes

the "color cancel" bug was reported...just in the previous post
about "close", it does work

current state of the plugin is :
_ "color cancel" bug fixed
_ "windows" "vertical" default checked bug fixed
_ extended 30 cols width for boost maps
I will post it soon so stay tuned !

check out 30 cols display :

works great for me
\ the only bug i could find was on single screen, when u want just fuel or just ignition display
with a view mode of areas, when u ctrl+ click to move it around, when u want it on a corner, it automatically flips the image and makes u look at it right on, instead of looking at it from the corner

Yes, that's true, the rotation often acts weird. Sadly, there is nothing to do about it for now, the bug is inside the MSChart control used. Every application I made that uses that control is plagued with this problem. I tried numerous workaround to solve it but without good results.
I tried for a long time to correctly synchronise the positions of the two graphs but it would always act silly.
I will still try other possible solutions not yet tried.
Anyway...better than nothing, right ?
Stay tuned.

yea
u have made a good job i must say
thanks a lot and keep the good work

now... maybe u can PM or talk to OutkastN8 and see if he can help ya
he made the 2D plugin, and works good too... i havent tried it on my laptop yet, but my laptop cant display anything more than 800x600 and he was able to rezise the plugin for us with that display limitation

*add-ins for ur plug in? maybe a popup window by the chart when u click a dot...... i know u trying to make it edit-able , but also to tell ya how much exactly the value is , will be awesome

too bad, this is over my head and cant help :(

the 3d plugin is already resizable, just grab the frame and resize
the new version already display current value when you select a point
I am now working at it to add more new functions and features
(it would be easier for me if the API worked as said, I loose lot of time trying out things without result)
hang on, it will come soon now
thanks for the feedback anyway, always appreciated
