Hex editing is easy. A good hex editor should show you the hex offset (think address, or location, or whatever) along the side and top of the chunk of hex code. Just scroll down until you find the 7FCx row and then go over to the first column, which is 0. 7FC0. Just change that value to 00, 01, or 02 depending on what mode you want to be in.
