Hi!
It's been a long time since my last post...some major trouble in the meantime due to a ground problem. Hopefully the car is back to normal with lots of new parts (distributor, ECU, fuse box, starter, cables).
One problem though. It might have been there before but I didn't pay attention.
I have the AF ratio gauge installed and I remember it was very accurate during the tuning with the wideband, so I will take it as a referrence now.
After starting the car, the mixture is rich. If I let the car idle it's not going to get lean.
If I start driving, the car feels very good in the beginning, good torque, etc. I see the gauge getting a little leaner, but it's still on the rich side.
After driving for about 10 min, I see the gauge getting very lean, and I feel the loss of power. The needle jumps suddenly to the lean side. I don't get any error, it's just lean. Even during acceleration I don't see it getting a little richer.
If I idle again (for a longer time), it gets rich again, eventually.
I'm suspecting the O2 sensor, but it's just 13K old. I tried to disable it in TE, I set it to off in the ROM properties, still same result. I modified the fuel maps, adding some fuel, still the same.
During all tests, I use the AC and the lights. If I don't use the AC, it's better, but still lean.
Did somebody have this problem?
I will hook up the LM1 in about 2 weeks, so I can post some numbers, but I'm hoping to get some suggestions in the meantime.
Thank you!
