Hi
I'm the one helping Baxter with the PM7 upgrade on his CRX.
We have already read the forums etc and tried reprogramming the computer to disable the ELD code.We can disable it ok but all that does is stop the computer flashing a code.It doesn't stop the computer being in limp home mode.
We still have the original alternator in the car which doesn't have the "FR" signal on it so we suspect that that may be causing the problem. We intend to try an alternator out of an EF civic to see if that fixes the problem.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what might cause it to go into limp home mode?

Hi Guys,

Grevis here, from Hamilton.

Currently racing a EF8 CRX with a B19 (B20 with type r crank). Tuned with BRE.

Have a dyno shop in Hamilton that doesnt mind me sitting in on the dyno sessions and
doing the tune in the factory ECU. Have done nearly 10 cars on the dyno here now.
