Hello and good day. I have question for CYP, CKP and TDC function. As i know CYP is cylinder position for first piston. CKP crank position degree and TDC is top death center for each piston.

1 CYP pulse = 24 CKP pulse
24 CKP pulse = 4 TDC pulse
6 CKP pulse = 1 TDC pulse

Looking to picture i attached: After 1 CYP and 4 CKP pulse then first TDC detection is firs ignition firing up right?

after it see's CYL 2 on its downstroke, it gets the TDC signal directly after and knows where it is and batch fires all injectors for the first pulse on CYL 1. it will fire in less than a turn if it shuts down in the proper location.
CKP is just a reference for timing fine adjustments from what I gather.

picture is broken.

But the CKP 24 teeth is the RPM signal (usually this would be on the crank of an engine)

The engine batch fires the injectors on first pulse to start the engine quicker, remember the dizzy mechanically controls spark to the correct cylinder.

Otherwise it would need to wait for the single CYP sensor to pass through a cycle before actually firing.

I think it probably uses the CKP and TDC to batch fire injector and ignition timing pulse. Then the first 1-2 CYP passes it switches over to sequential injection...

I bet Honda Rulez would know since he made a COP replacement for the honda ignition system

Code in ECU.
On 3rd CKP pulse can workout RPM.
Have RPM then enable fuel pump.

See TDC pulse fire all injectors and trigger ignition.

See 2nd CYP, Triggers synced and switch to sequential injection.

Ok, so the TDC signal is for injector firing.... then the ICM signal will separated by distributor for ignition firing right?

The TDC signal just reference for ECU detect when to fire the injector, injector will fire after tdc signal detect.
