Ok guys so I bought a ecu out of a Gsr that had no sticker on the outside thinking it was an obd1 p72-a01 ecu but when I brought it home and opened it up the inside sticker shows p30-a00. I can't tell if these stickers have been tampered with since the p30-a00 sticker is lifting on one corner so I'm not too sure what I have can soneone help me figure out how to tell them apart and make a positive ID on this ecu.

even if does checkout, it has been 'touched' in some way or another.
removal of the outer sticker suggests either a case swap due to damage/corrosion/removing_mods (ie switch mounted in case) or an attempt at hiding something.
Inner sticker being incorrect suggests a lot more of the latter.

this may not be a bad thing to your goals, simply treat it as such.
