Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows how much current roughly is available from the datalogging port after chipping a P30 ECU, on the 5V Pin.

Just trying to figure out if the ECU will be capable of powering my logger directly, or if I will need to put in a 12V -> 5V PSU.

Either way its no issue, but if the 5V can supply enough (say 400mA) that would be awesome.
I have no idea how much the ECU is consuming on the 5V rail, to figure out how much is available.

Anyone know?

Regards
WanaGo

I consume ~120mA for my Arduino + backlit LCD and everything works fine.. how much current does your logger need?
