I need another ECU to help t'shoot a all-stock 1995 5-speed Honda Civic VX in CALIFORNIA. Engine is the D15Z1.

CA means it's got a 37820-po7-L02 ecu, and the O2 sensor is not the 5-wire version. The ecu contains a 02D011F0-1500 pcb, btw.
I've already swapped the electrolytic caps; they were fine. No help.

I can't find a replacement p07.
If I'm correct(?) that the p28 is going to be functionally-closest to the po7, what would I need to modify/add to the p28 pcb, besides the EPROM socket, etc?

I didn't see a po7 .bin file in the library, either...

Help? Thanks!

I am assuming your "not the 5 wire o2 version" meens you have a real po7 (6wire).If you're just looking for an ecu to trouble shoot, any 4 wire 92-95 civic ecu should run the car, just with a o2 code, a p05 or po5 will work best and run the same as a p07, eccept you will have a o2 code. A stock p28 will run the car as a test in stock condition, however you will have vtec codes plus the o2 code. If you're looking to chip an ecu, and use it long term, then use just about any 92-95 civic/integra ecu, use a similar map, like a p05/p06, and disable the o2 test and heater. You maybe able to mod the hardware and software to get any of these ecus to run the 6wire o2, or just change the care to a 4wire.

by the way, what are the symptoms you are trying to fix?
