Hi everyone..

Last week, got 1 short ecu, board 1840 with hondata inside.
Remove the hondata, remove the J1.. Test. No CEL lite up at all..
Change 220uf 35v, 100uf 35v,STa413a, TA8903sn, the result is same.
But the strange things is, after ignition, can hear the fuel pump prime.

Any one had encounter this problem before?

thanks in advance..

Will the car run? If so does everything work but the cel? Let me see if I have an extra ecu laying around with that board so I can trace the cel circuit. It may take me a few days to get to it, this is my bussy season.

Do you know that the light bulb for the CEL is good? Try a test light between ECU pin A13-green/orange wire and ground. During fuel pump prime the test light should light up. If it does, it is the bulb in the dash, if it does not, it is in the ECU.
