 Post subject: changed c14 cap

I chipped a ecu the other day. when chipping the ecu i changed the c14 cap. now the ecu wont prime the fuel pump. thought the cap was bad so i desoldered it and put another one in there. same prob. any suggestions?

Did you solder it in with the correct direction? Make sure its not backwards.

cap is installed the same as the factory one. stripe facing away from the connectors. i verified it by looking at another ecu.

the fuel pump does not prime, car wont start and no fuel pressure at the fuel rail. everything was working properly before i replaced the c14 cap. Are there any other components that are fuel pump related on the board with the c14 cap?
