Couple general questions. I have been wondering for a while about an obd2b to obd1 auto project. It would appear that the obd1 tcu can not control the obd2b transmission, being there are several vital signals missing, ie solenoid "C". Other options would be to swap in an obd1 transmission. What I was wondering is running a dual ecu/pcm setup. Using an manual p75 ecu with my current pcm acting as the tcu. Any thoughts on this? How likely will the pcm be to go into limp mode? Is it possible to remove the limp mode function? I am assuming this hasnt been attempted for my app, so what are the principles behind this? Any info would be appreciated.
