A customer brought this ECU to me to get chipped to run a modified CRX. I've never seen this particular model but it has an area silkscreened for an EPROM and a latch. The barcode reads 37820-PM9-A00, 240-108829 ZA. The processor is an M66301 and is running code 214. The board also has 01D01360-1500-0 silkscreened on the right and Q7Y-DO on the bottom right. On the top right is 'CN3' which looks identical to the OBD1 datalogging port.

Research tells me this is a 90-91 USDM D15B DPFI ECU but the code is for a USDM P74 Integra B18. It's obviously "chippable" but "J1" near the datalogging ports already has a jumper so it's not the same as OBD1 in that aspect.

Can anyone shed light on this?

The ECU IS for DPFI, forget the code number on the MCU. We have the same ECU here in europe but it's called P04.

If you or your customer does not plan to do a DPFI system, than you can throw it in the litter.

If you still want to chip it, look out for a missing jumper near the MCU and EProm. Think about, you need a working program for this kind of ECU - it's DPFI, the ECU Hardware is more likly OBD0 with just a 66k MCU in it.
