I made a couple of small utilities to assist dasm662 and asm662. It allows you to select a file name, it automatically calls the output filename the same but changes the extension (but you can change the output file name to whatever you want... but NO SPACES). The only stipulation is, it must be in the same folder. DASM launcher, dasm662.exe, and the .bin file you want to disassemble, must all be in the same folder (even though you can browse other folders). This is because dasm662 cannot have spaces in the filename arguments... so I had to code it in this manner. Also, you .bin or .asm filenames cannot have spaces, or it will not work... just like when you use it at the command prompt. I may add shell return string error handling, but don't count on it... it works as far as I am concerned!

Same goes for ASM Launcher.

Here are the two utilities... enjoy!

Hi There,

Downloaded both of the above, Made sure that my .bin files were in the same directory but all I get is the following error:

Image

I have'nt changed the DASM file name, None of my .bin files contain spaces and the Bin file is in the same directory as the DASM.

Anything I have done wrong Buddy :?

Regards

Chris

P.S. You're gonna get fedup with me soon Dude, Sorry

is there any way you can expand that error message so I can see all of it? or coply and paste all of it and post it? It is a very basic program, with no error handling built in... I will look into it though if you get more info to me.
