I cannot get the datalogging on my car to work. If you have any ideas, please let me know... I'm really starting to crack.

Car: 1989 Integra
Engine: D16A1
ECU: 1991 PM6 - socketed
Software: TurboEdit, EcuControl
Hardware: DKU-5 data cable, laptop, PLX M300

I know that I have the DKU-5 wired correctly as I used a continuity tester to identify the wires.

I know that I am using the NG55 and NG60 .bin files to attempt to datalog.

Here is my result:

104rpm
20.02Hg
5 TPS
108 Speed
4.9 AFR

These numbers don't change. It's as though there isn't any data making it to the laptop and ECUControl is just throwing these at me.

I would attempt to use Hyperterminal to see what is going on but I can only reach COM4 through Hyperterminal and my DKU-5 is on COM5.

HELP!

Well after 4 weeks of trying everything I found the problem.

The CN3 was damaged.

Works now. 8)
