I am using a chipped PM6 on ng60 code.
I am using a Nokia DKU-5 cable. It has no inline adaptor but the USB connector is about twice as large as normal so I figure it must be in there.
It has 5 wires, Black, White, blue, yellow and red. Tracing the pinouts I have came to the conclusion that black is ground, blue is Receiver, and white is Tranmisster. Hooked up the shielded wire to black and to pin1 on CN3. Hooked up the bluw wire to pin2, and the white to pin 4.
I have installed all USB drivers and the computer recognizes the usb device. Ive also made sure that the com port corresponds in both ecucontrol and devicemanager (com 5)
I load up ECUcontrol and no data is being recorded, absolutley nothing.
Ive tried switching the tx and rx wires but no sucess. Any ideas?

Look I'm trying to figure this out myself but at least I'll bump you up...

And while I'm at it - perhaps you know where on earth in the Ecu should one hook up the Wideband's analog output?

Will that also work for the non-nokia USB cables? I have the USB supplied in xenocron's kit.

I found the following to work on my DKU-5 cable, although I have a green instead of black:

Red - Rx
Blue - Tx
White - Ground with shield

Now all this gives me with every datalogger is junk values, but it seems to be communicating. I haven't tried swapping Rx and Tx yet, I think that will be next.

So has anybody still figured this thing out? I have the same cable, wired black w/shield to pin 1, white to pin 2 and blue to pin 4, these are at least the right pins right? I followed the directions given by Jim Truett.

Another thing, what does j12 do and does it need to be cut?, what do you have your other settings at?

Any and all help greatly appreciated, thank you.

Well I have RTFW and I dont see no stinking J12 on my PR3. I cant get my datalogging to work either. I purchased to COMPSys AD233 that was recomended on the ECU Control website. Everything is hooked up right. I have checked multiple times.
