Whatever happened to the PalmOS beta version?

In any case, if there are no more plans to produce a working Palm OS version of ECUcontrol, I'm going to take a stab at it...

just bought a sony clie so I'd like to see what it can do :)

as of right now we have plans to port the latest version to PalmOS. But that wont even begin for at least a coupleof weeks.

any chance of sharing a little of the C source code you have from the previous beta version?

I'll gladly give back full source of what I've done...

Maybe in later time, but for now, the beta is too funky to be usable by anybody right now.

FYI...

just hacked up my USB cradle for my Sony Clie NX-73 (palm OS 5) and found that it's using psuedo TTL signals for serial communication. (3.3V) I think this may be high enough for the ECU to process "naked". So no MAX232 chip would be necessary for RS232 communication hopefully.

Going to test it out with a very simple logging program that I wrote... see what happens.

we have ported ecucontrol to .net, so porting it to Pocket PC is just a matter of time after the new ecucontrol gets released.

Ok, I got myself back into the code. I've already made change, expect a new version this week or so.
