So I have the Nokia USB Cable attached & I have a Laptop and I plug in the cable, windows asks for the drivers for it and I point it to the Win9X* MNCRXSi directory and it says it can't find the drivers. So I point it to the XP directory (btw: there is nothing in the Win2K directory) and it installs a driver but it always has the ! next to it in Windows Device Manager. What am I doing wrong?? Why won't it accept the Windows 98 driver???

I got it into COM1 but its still not reading anything in ECU control. If I click on Send address (or read) it gives me values, but thats about it.

I have both ECU Controls (4 & 5) I am trying to use 4 as much as possible, and I am using the PM6 Bin off ECUControl's site.

Ok, you should use EC4 only then, cause EC5 only works wiht NG series rom, and the rom on my site are mostly stock, except for the dataloging part.

You have a communication problem, for sure.

OK guys when running ECUControl 4 on the system, I connect and when I click on READ ADDRESS on the Numerical tab it says things like FAA.

Does that help? Also I tryed using 5.0 with my NG48 chip and same thing.

It wouldn't happen to be still having a problem with the drivers could it?

I am going to try to lug my Desktop outside & use that, its running Windows 2000 on it and I know the USB pots work for sure on it :) And I would be able to see if its a connection problem or Laptop problem.

Thanks for the help guys.
