 Post subject: data-logging with PM6
PostPosted: Mon Apr 05, 2004 11:31 pm
Hello,
I am trying to do data-logging with a PM6 ecu. Does anyone know the correct COM port settings to use? I have tried a million combinations and can only get a blip of data. I tried switching the Tx and Rx wires after reading some posts, but then I didn't even get a twitch... Does it make any difference that I haven't chipped the ECU yet? I am using the Max233 kit plugged into a serial port on a Win98se machine... Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, 5 sec after posting this, I found the FAQ for data-logging, and it seems I need to go ahead and chip my ECU for the data-logging to work. However, I am still interested to know what COM port settings I should use. Thanks!
